Netflix, on its official twitter account, announced that a live action series of the acclaimed Cowboy Bebop is coming to its platform. They haven't revealed any information regarding the release date, but it was also said that the original anime creator Shinichiro Watanabe will be brought in to consult on the project, and that the first episode wiill be written by Chris Yost, who previously wrote Thor: Ragnarok.

Streaming giant Netflix, using what appears to be black magic, has somehow gotten the classic anime Neon Genesis Evangelion locked in for their 2019 lineup. While Evangelion's legal rights and streaming troubles have been well documented, Netflix is a billion dollar company, and no television show in the world is unobtainable to them. Let's hope this modern-day revival of the series will introduce the anime to more fans then ever! And maybe, just maybe, the 20-year debate will be settled: Who is Evangelion's best girl?

I'm sure most of us remember Fruit Basket, the famous shojo manga series that was adapted into an anime in 2001. According to a Funimation blog post, the series will be returning via FunimationNow, Funimation's fairly new streaming program. On friday, the official Monthly G Fantasy magazine website revealed that Kiichi Hotta's Kimi To Boku. will be returning on December 18th. The manga has been on hiatus since November 2015, and it previously went on hiatus in November 2014 due to the author's poor health. It has also been adapted into an anime, and the first season premiered in October 2011, along with the second in April 2012. Both seasons were streamed by Crunchyroll.

The staff of Kemono Friends Second Season revealed a new visual, cast and revealed a January 7th premiere for the anime. The cast from the previous season is returning to voice their respective characters, and joining the cast are Yui Ishikawa and Riko Koike voicing the Child and Caracal, respectively. The previous season's director and producer are not returning to the second season, replacing them are director Ryuichi Kimura (Aikatsu!) and producer Shinnosuke Numata. The staff is also holding auditions for a new unit in the anime.

Anime and Manga Club officially transitioned to Anime Tavern some few weeks ago when the domain name changed. Today marks the soft launch of the newly reduxed version of the site to bring with it a unified aesthetic. However, this change is very slight but also brings with it two additional updates: Many of the features of the site that have been left dormant and untouched for a while have been given TLC to bring them up-to-date.
